Angry Another Pit Bull Kills a New Born
Pit Bull kills new born in Spring. Life flight tried to save it, but didn’t make it to the hospital. Owners said the 100 pound dog wasn’t aggressive. Owners may face charges. I hope they get man slaughter. They were like any other Pit owner, not my dog.

I understand the entire diehard Pit Bull owners to defend their animal, but facts show they are unpredictable and maul at will. They are born with that instinct. I can’t seem to find anything on German Sheppard’s, Retrievers etc. killing or mauling children.

My wish they all be banned as pets or a law stating an owner cannot have small children AND a Pit Bull.

May the 13 day old baby RIP. Never had a chance.

Outlaw pit bulls
When will people realize the fact this breed of dog cant be trusted. These dogs need to be outlawed.

You cannot predict what any animal will do around children, no animal should be left with a child unsupervised. Any animal can be dangerous.

I just have a bad taste with Pits. I have had neighbors get them just to say they have one. Just let them stay in the bad weather and bring them out when need to show. I have lost one dog that was pulled through a cyclone fence by one of them. Our dog was a lot bigger than that hole, imagine that picture. Animal control was too scared to recover the pit that got into our yard. So was the Hispanic owner with his proud pit bull.

Yes I'll go with that. No dogs till a child is say 3-4 years old. I'd vote today in favor. It eliminates all those news stories or MAKES SENSE.

I know I am going to get flak for this but as far as I am concerned, this breed could go extinct and I would not shed a tear. Hearing about these attacks by pitbulls are getting very old. How much denial can be accepted before people start paying attention to the truth.

Pit Bull
I believe everyone here has their own right to judge a pitbull.....believe me for years i felt the same way until i met my husband and his family of pit bulls....we have 3 children the oldest child being 15 our oldest pit is 14 yrs and we also have a daughter that is 14yrs another pit which is 9 yrs and a 11 yr old son....our kids have been raised around these PIT BULLS all there lives since newborn they are a part of the family...never have we had any problems with the dogs when it come to the kids...my kids play, feed, water, wrestle, walk and show our dogs...our dogs have placed many times in shows 1st or 2nd place....I strongley believe it is all in the way you raise you animal....no dog not even mine are perfect....but mine are wonderful to my family they are a big part in my family we recently had one pit bull pass away she was 11 yrs my kids cryied for about a wk and think about her all the time..... You have to show this breed love and attention which we do plenty of and they will 100% love you back

Every story I have seen of a child being mauled by a PIT...the owners have said this exact thing. They never had any problems with the dog, blah blah blah. Pretty sad that each pit owner thinks that their dog wouldn't do this...
