"Butterball" Masterbuilt Indoor Tukey Fryer

I bought one of these at WalMart the other day, mostly because of all of the great review it has gotten on the internet. I fried a turkey and, I guess it was okay...I just wasn't really wild about fried turkey, I think..I like the savory taste of a well roasted bird as opposed to the almost artificial flavors of the injection solutions. (Next time I will NOT inject with anything and see what happens.)
Later, I fried some chicken in it and it came out really, really good; very crispy and not oily at all. You know the deal where people say you can't fry chicken at home that is as good as fast food chicken you can buy? Not true. This stuff was amazing.

So, two questions here:
Has anyone ever heard all the hype, bought all of the stuff, fried up a turkey....only to discover that they don't especially care for fried turkey?

and.....
Anyone else tried this fryer? What do you think?

Thanks,
DD
