Speeding cars

I'm trying to find out what we can do about all the traffic and speeding cars in my neighborhood. I live on Maplewood, and it's almost nonstop traffic. I was told by one of the older neighbors that when they took out the Red light at Pruett & Williams and just put flashing red lights, that it increased the traffic through our neighborhood. People are now using our street as a cut through. Why does the city have that as a flashing light instead of a working red light?

All I can say is over the weekend and today I saw more stopped cars by Baytown, HC, and La Porte along my drive on 330 and 146 than I have seen in six months. Didn't look like any kind of sting, looked like they were just getting serious about the people who drive ninety to nothing along these highways!!!!

It is not like they aren't watching opinions like the ones that get posted here, just stay aware!!!!
